Does any one out there have any good pictures of 633VGS Ventures. I would love to have some pictures. Have great memories of my short time with 633 as a student.

I don't see any reason why not, though a little acknowledgement of 633 in return would be nice!

Thanks to Flt Lt Jim Irvine we now have a few photos of 633 from the 60s to get the "Days of Old" photo gallery rolling, showing the Kirby Cadet and Sedburgh aircraft. They'll be posted in the gallery section of the website shortly.
Any other photos people have available would be greatly received.

Hi folks. Now worries about the 'days gone by' section. Jim has to take credit for the photos. I believe the airbourne one of cosford was taken on his second solo. Hopefully more will be on the way! See you this weekend. Nick

Swifty are you a 425 boy. Thats my old Sqdn. Mr Swift was/is the Radio genius. I was there between 82 and 88 got to Flt/Sgt. If there is still the Rudloe Manor Station Plaque still around you'll see me listed there (on the reverse along with others of cpurse).
Good to see A 425 boy achieve so well in a VGS, congrats. Are you the first from 425 to achieve this?

Thanks again, Nick Will it feel weird next time your squadron goes gliding and your one of 'the pilots'. Have fun and enjoy. Flying in civvy street is expensive. I tried to keep flying up after my course but it cost more than I could justify. Is your dad still in touch with ex 425 boys who made it onto fast jets? (Won't use names as this is a public board)

He is yes. One (N) i think is now flying 747's for BA and the (E) is still in the RAF instructing on the Hawk i believe. I have flown one cadet from 425 so far and yes it did feel rather odd!

There are pictures of Sqd/Ldr H on 425's site. They left 425 for uni about 3 or 4 months after I joined but didn't really know them. Did get to know D B (flew Hercs in RAF) a little. Think he's now flying commerfcially. Have any more 425 cadets made it into Aircrew? (Yourself excepted
